3.7 Planning and Delivering Learning - Assessment
Welcome to chapter 7 of the 'Planning and Delivering Learning' module. This chapter discusses various different forms of assessment: each will be explained as we undergo a critical exploration of why assessment is necessary and beneficial, and how it can be best used to support our learners.

- To be able to identify the benefits and drawbacks of employing different assessment methods, and to begin to understand where a method is most appropriate.
- To understand why assessment in its many forms is pivotal for maximising and consolidating learning, and to be able to form comprehensive strategies for addressing this in practice.
